ID profile or are a Miles & More customer:

When you book a flight up to 24 hours in advance, your boarding pass will be sent to

Lufthansa Mobile Boarding Pass

Your mobile boarding pass will be sent to you in your boarding pass file, via email, or as
an SMS link on your smartphone after you’ve checked in for your flight. You can manage
your mobile boarding pass offline on the Lufthansa app, Google Play, or Wallet after
receiving it.
Despite being available for the majority of destinations, the mobile boarding pass may
occasionally not be issued at certain locations due to official regulations. In these
circumstances, you will get a confirmation of check-in and then get your boarding pass at
the airport desk. If you experience any issues with the mobile boarding pass, you can get a
paper copy at the Lufthansa airport check-in counter or from a check-in machine.
After passing through security, head directly to your gate if you are only bringing carry-on
luggage. If you have checked baggage, check it in at a Lufthansa bag drop counter or bag
drop kiosk before going through security and arriving at the gate.
