COVID-19

Ocean Combat is a BSL II Compliance Laboratory
Ship. Ocean Combat with its agility concept design
will provide better flexibility to cater all needs on
remote islands. Ocean Combat is specially designed
to help areas that have no special examination
laboratory for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
Ocean Combat provides Fast 1000 Test PCR Lab System. This PCR Lab is the Gold Standard testing for COVID-19
according to WHO (World Health Organization), where FASTLab Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) will make
hundreds or thousands copies a specific DNA / RNA COVID-19 with many steps of denaturation, annealing,
and extension. This PCR process will then detect any DNA/RNA molecular COVID-19 in a specimen accurately.
Ocean Combat has developed a unique vaccination
and screening features suitable for fast vaccination
in city and rural areas. The New Ocean Combat
offers the possibility to accelerate the emergency
vaccination program for Indonesia’s fast health
recovery.

with Multipurpose Cabin.
1. Flybridge Area
is designed for captain to manage
and monitor all operation systems from the front
control panel in the front cabin.
Ante-Room Cabin is designed to provide stable
air pressure before entering Laboratory-Room,
with the stable air pressure Ante-Room could give
minimum contamination into the laboratory area.
The Emergency Cabin is designed to provide first
aid in an emergency, equipped with equipment
such as Oxygen Cylinders and ventilators, as well
as various emergency equipments. In addition,
this cabin could also be used as an isolation area.
2. Main Deck with Multipurpose Cabin
The Laboratory-Room System is the heart of
this special purpose vehicle. In this room all
the laboratory examinations will be carefully
taken care of. With robust Lab equipments, this
room is limited access for certain well-trained
people only. With 3 personal people inside the
Laboratory-Room will give comprehensive
process in Laboratory-room system generate a
FastLab Solution for Fast Result with integrated
data management system.
3. The Lower Deck is designed as a deck that functions as an operational support area. That consist of crew
rest areas, toilets, kitchen areas, and also server areas.

Ocean Combat provides a Full Automatic Laboratory
Control System. The Automatic Control system will
bring a new experience of user friendly environment
for operators to operate the laboratory system easier
that ever before. Ocean Combat is an integrated
digital touch screen with automatic control panel
system, electrical system, access control system, air
flow system, telecommunication system, and lighting
system inside the laboratory system.
Ocean Combat provides a special Laboratory purpose
design interior with Laboratory BSL II compliances.
The walls, floors and ceilings in the Laboratory-Room
are purposely designed and constructed to facilitate
cleaning and decontamination of any harmful
objects. This special purpose design will minimize
the risk of laboratory personnel exposed to harmful
viruses, bacteria, or particles. Ocean Combat has
specially designed flooring for Laboratory complete
with slip-resistant that is smooth, hard finish liquid-tight
or monolithic and seamless or with welded seams.
Ocean Combat has the Safety Air Flow design
System. This system creates unidirectional airflow,
which draws air into the laboratory from “Positive
Pressure “ areas toward “Negative Pressure” areas.
A robust Cooling system with some exhaust air
systems installed in the room will make sure that
all the circulated air flow inside the Laboratory is
unidirectional and safe with HEPA Filters, UV Virus
Eradicatioin System.

Such as the Bio Safety Cabinet (BSL III), Autoclave System, Negative Pressure System, Centrifuge, Spindown,

Ocean Combed is design designed according to the
standards of BKI or Indonesian Classification Center
which provides standardization for the boy of the
ship.
Ocean Combat is a catamaran type boat that has a
2 hull configuration. Because it has 2 hulls it provides
a better level of transverse stability than a single hull
ship, has shallower drag, and a wider deck area.
This ship has a hull made of Fiberglass Reinforced
Plastic (FRP) material which has high resistance to
damage caused by rust or other harsh chemicals.

The ship’s DC power source is supplied from Aki. The battery on this ship consists of 4 (four) pieces:
This DC electricity network is best used when the
generator engine is on and balanced by charging
from the charger.
The ship is equipped with 2 (two) panels, the AC and DC current panels. The AC panel on the starboard side
of the ship is wall mounting, which is placed in the area behind the pantry. The electrical panel insulation
class is Class F and is equipped with a parallel system.

1. Cabin Lights
The cabin lighting used is an LED type with a supply
voltage of 220V AC and 12V DC. lighting lamps for
bathrooms, kitchens and open spaces with a water
tight type.

Spotlights must be of LED or halogen specifications.
The floodlight supply voltage is 12 VDC. This spotlight
is used to assist the captain in seeing in the dark, and
