Why the maze runner is my favourite film of all time From the very first Maze Runner that was released, I always wanted to watch it as I was interested in the maze in which the Gladers had to figure out together how to get out of the maze that they had little information about to escape and find the real truth about the outside world. The cast and the scenery fitted perfectly into this dystopian action film. The first film I watched automatically made me read every single one of the Maze Runner books from the series, which is weird for me as I don’t read books and don’t enjoy them, but the fact that I bought the Maze Runner books and finished them shows you how much I loved the Maze Runner series.
- 3. Facts about the Maze Runner • The movie topped the box office during its opening weekend with a $32.5 million debut, making it the seventh highest grossing debut in September. The movie earned over $348 million worldwide at the box- office, against its budget of $34 million which is a huge profit margin. • The production filmed over 18 acres of land on a local farm. The farm had 200 acres in total. • In the movie, the grievers have legs and run. In the book, they roll and have arms inside them that come out. Their arms can also have weapons such as knives on the end. • The movie shot for 42 days. • The first Glader came up 3 years ago. There are between 30-40 people in the Glade now (it’s an undetermined amount). Usually a kid comes up in the box once a month and they’ve been there around 3 years.
