3. HOW A HYBRID CAR WORKS ?
It is a vehicle with parallel hybrid configuration
5. Great stability with light weight construction and plenty of protection for the
parts in the cabin….
It is built on carbon-fiber reinforced plastics monocoque interlocked with a
carbon-fiber reinforced plastic unit carrier.
Plenty of Porsche's trademarks are there which boasts a sloped nose, along
with a sleek roofline that tapers all the way down to the rear end.
Two piece Targa top graces on the roofline which will give you the pleasure
of driving in open air.
At its front, you can find shapelier headlights that you will see on the rest of
its lineup.
The front fenders are also far less bulging then on the other models in its
line.
On the backside there is a massive dual-pedestal spoiler to add extra
downforce.
Porsche fitted the engine’s main air intakes at front of rear wheels.
Fixed roll-over protection system.

8. In the interior you can find black and silver color combination with green
contrasting piping on the door panels.
Instead of that ugly hard plastic it will offer you a soft touch interior with 3
spoke, multifunction sports steering wheel and sport seats wrapped in
leather.
The open center console is encased in aluminum and divides the cockpit’s
function areas with visual clarity.

15. WORKING
The main source of propulsion is the 4.6 litre 608 hp(453kW) V8 engine(4,593
cc) derived directly from the power unit of the successful RS Spyder(older)
918 Spyder power unit features dry-sump lubrication with separate oil tank
and oil exractor.
16. Light-weight design have resulted in some features such as titanium
connecting rods, thin-wall, low-pressure casing on the crank case and
cylinder heads, light-weight steel crankshaft with 180 degrees crankpin
offset and extremely thin-walled alloy steel/nickel exhaust system.
The V8 no longer supports any auxiliary systems, there are no external belt
drives and the engine therefore is compact.
Weight and performance optimizations achieve a power output per litre of
approx. 133 hp/l.
The 918 Spyder can be powered at the rear axle either individually by the
combustion engine or electric motor or via jointly both.

subframe.
Air induction are made
of carbon fibre
reinforced polymer.
The tailpipes terminate
in the upper part of rear
end immediately above
the engine. No other
vehicle use this solution.
The top pipe greatest
benefit is optimal heat
removal, because the
hot exhaust gases are
released via the shortest
possible route.

24. HOW PORSCHE 918 SPYDER IS ECO-FRIENDLY ???
When we say extravagant car, many would definitely refer it to a racing car. However, with the popularity of
eco-friendly item, the car making industry gets highly affected and the Porsche 918 is clearly an example.
This extravagant-looking high-end car is Porsche’s eco-friendly hybrid supercar. Ti features a powerful 608
horsepower and a 10,300-rpm v8 engine collaborated with two electric motors making the car to have a total
of 767 horsepower engine.
In addition, the Porsche 918 also has the catchy and sexy sculpted outer finish making it a desirable car to
own. We all know that luxury cars consume large amount of fuel. However, with the creation of hybrid cars,
the environment is now safer.
