Helping Hand Vietnam is an initiative started by Fablab Hanoi to provide prosthetic hands for people in Vietnam who lack hands due to war, accidents, or birth. It connects Vietnamese groups and individuals with 3D printers to design and print prosthetic hands based on designs from the e-NABLE community. The process involves measuring the recipient's arm, selecting a design, modifying the design as needed, 3D printing and assembling the prosthetic hand. However, the project faces difficulties obtaining information about all people in need, a lack of devices, materials, and a budget to operate on a wider scale.
