Rail Budget 2016:
* No hike in passenger fares as Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu presents this year's Rail
Budget ; Announces, slew of reforms in areas of passenger amenities including over 65,000
additional berths, senior citizens seat quota up by fifty per cent; Wi-Fi services at 100
stations, safer means for women travelers and CCTV surveillance at all major stations.
* Mr Prabhu says, core objective is to make railways an engine of employment generation and
