Some of the athletes abuse the use of the above-mentioned medications risking their kidneys that may further lead to dialysis. You may also suffer from kidney dysfunction due to various underlying conditions. Diabetes, weak heart condition, high blood pressure etc. are some of the common diseases that might result in kidney failure requiring you to take up dialysis treatment. Kidney patients can opt for either dialysis or kidney transplant according to the severity of the condition of the kidneys. Dialysis is a costly and time-consuming treatment making kidney transplant the only viable option for the patient suffering from last stage renal disease.
