5. Graduation And you know that we’ve been there through the laughter and the tears No matter where we go here ‘ cos our memories will always keep us near. So smile and look up and think through all the years that we’ve been friends. All the time we spent together will last in time now and forever look at where we’ve been how far we’ve gone. Don’t forget the love that binds us friendships are there to remind us we have never been alone. And you know that we’ve been there through the laughter and the tears No matter where we go here cos our memories will always keep us near. So smile and look up and think through all the years that we’ve been friends.
6. What we have cannot be taken its built on sturdy rock foundation nothing can ever tear or break apart. As we go in all directions leaving, striving for perfection just keep one thing in mind remember what you left behind. So smile and look up and think through all the years that we’ve been friends. So smile and look up and think through all the years that we’ve all been here and we’ve been friends. And we’ve been friends and we’ve been friends. Written by Diana Davis 2000

70. The New, 2010, Class Prophecy So finally 2010 has arrived. The year, the entire town has been awaiting. The class of 2000 is returning to tear up the town. Festivities will take place at the former WCHS. First on the scene are the event planners of the year, Jacy, Krissie and Marsha. Jacy being the most organized of the three found time in her busy schedule, working as a marketing contractor for a medical translations company, to arrive early and start setting up the power point presentation. Krissie arrives early as well, after finishing up her last client at her salon, Cutting Edge in Digby. Marsha trails slowly behind but still early, after supervising her shift at Frenchy’s , she had to pour a quick batch of candles, and then whip up some yummy Epicure dips for the meet and greet.
71. Our favourite exchange student Sabine Muff, travelled all the way from Switzerland. Surprisingly Sabine managed to get a vacation from her hectic schedule of, teaching senior high biology, also working as a lab technician at the Childrens University Hospital and still attending University to finish her teaching degree. Jenny Manzer- Goyetche lights up the room, not only with her brilliant smile and contagious laugh, but also because she is working with Nova Scotia Power, these days. Pamela Maher enters without Sheldon Thibault as earlier predictions had them married with children. She is now faculty at Acadia University. Sheldon Thibault is unable to attend the reunion as he is living in Stettler Alberta working with Thibault’s roofing.
72. Jason Boudreau had to trade in the Spruce Moose for something a little more reliable to get him to his manager position at the Riverdale Fur Farm Feed Kitchen. If you need to contact Kristen Doucette all you have to do is call 310-30-30. She is working with Greco in Halifax. Next to enter, is Stephanie Melanson-Moulaison, travelled up from Yarmouth. If you are ever in the area and needing to fuel up stop into the Circle K (Irving) Station and say Hello. Amanda Barr and Barrett Stone enter as a happily married couple. Barrett has no fear of aging as Amanda is a continuing care assistant for Digby/ Clare Home Support Agency. Unable to attend but remembered for writing our Graduation Song, is Diana Davis-Billings. Diana is living in Carleton Place, ON. Working as a music and Childrens Pastor at Calvary Pentecostal Church.
73. In comes Tisha Comeau, who is working her dream job of hairdresser/homemaker. Alaina Thibault-Doucet has been a stay at home Mom for 8 years. In that time, she has started her own business making all natural skin care products. The energetic Fred Weaver has settled in Digby, NS after travelling all over North America. The newlywed Sarah Jones-Horner enters the room speaking francais. Thanks to Mr. Hannah she is teaching French in Halifax. Shawna Hiltz-Deveau spends her days with her son Daley as she is a stay at home mom. Another peer travelling a long way, but is more than willing to make the trip. Tanya Sabine-Bean is playing a major role in teaching her son, Atticus everything he knows.
74. Sadly, the timing for the reunion was off a little bit for Issac Hankinsons visit home. His position at Stettler Motors GM Dealership would not allow two vacations so close together. Fenwick Jeffrey may not have as much money as Bill Gates, yet. However, he finds himself happily married and working at Irving pulp& paper as a project engineer. Lisa Gavel arrives from the valley where she is raising two kids and working as a residential worker. Chris Lombard also unable to attend as this is his busy time of year working as a concrete foreman and bobcat operator living in Lloydminster, Ab. For the rest of the graduating class who we did not receive information we presume they are all living successful and fulfilling lives. As for the rest of us let’s take this time to create memories that last until our 25th reunion.
