2. A dig is a pass of a hard-driven ball from the
other team. Like a pass, your arm position and
platform remain the same. The difference is that
the ball is coming from a high point above the net
and hit in a downward trajectory. When passing
the ball is coming from 30 feet away and usually
below the height of the net

4. TOSS
A toss in volleyball is a move where
the player throws the ball over their
head and then hits it back over their
head, towards their partner. It's often
used as an attacking move or to set
up a play on the other side of the
court.
5.
6. SERVICE
Serve. A serve begins each rally. A player must hit the
ball with his or her hand over the net to land inside the
lines of the court. Players may serve underarm or
overarm (hardly anyone at elite level would offer an
underarm serve).
7. 3 TYPES OF SERVICE
There are basically three types of Serve in
volleyball: the Underhand Serve, the Side Arm
Serve and the Overhand Serve. Within each of
these types there are different styles of Underhand
Serve, Side Arm Serve and Overhand Serve, such
as the Jump Serve, the Jump Float Serve and the
Hybrid Serve
11. Blocking in the sport of volleyball is a
defensive play that is accomplished by 1,
2, or 3 front-row players jumping and
pressing their arms over the net in an
effort to "block" the opposing hitter.
Blocking is one of the most worked-on skills
out there.
12.
13. SPIKING
A volleyball spike or attack is the
strategy used to send the ball over the
net to the opponent in such a manner
that ball is not returnable.
15. Leila Gomes de Barros (born September 30,
1971)[1] is a Brazilian politician and a former
volleyball player. She often played as
opposite hitter and attacker. She was a
member of the Brazilian squad who had great
success in the late 1990s and early 2000s
(decade), winning the 1996 and 1998 editions
of the volleyball Grand Prix and being rated
the most valuable player (MVP) in each win.
