ITEM Engineering was founded in 2011, being a utility and engineering support
company providing a full range of services in the electricity field, specializing in
distribution networks, energy management, energy pricing and tariffs and water
related management services. ITEM Engineering has access to most forms of the
various disciplines within the wider energy environment in general but electrical
energy in specific. This could range from energy audits to energy management and
could include billing and loss management. ITEM Engineering aims to provide
services to the Domestic, Industrial, Commercial, Property Management and
Institutional Customers with the aid of the latest technologies such as AMR
(Automated Meter Reading) and SMART Metering solutions.
To make alternative energy sources available to customers and to preserve the
planet earth, ITEM Engineering is seeking registration and accreditation with the
Ministry of Mines and Energy to supply and install renewable energy products to its
client base.
ITEM Engineering is aimed at putting together experience of professionals and the
latest smart technology in the international market for energy optimisation on grids,
buildings, cities and towns in Namibia.
Initially ITEM Engineering with the aid of their strategic partners intend to indulge in
the Namibian market but would be prepared to work outside the borders of Namibia
as well.
