 On the Muhurat trading day, the Nifty traded with a positive bias and managed to add another 20 points. Nifty fu- tures premium declined and settled at 9 points. India VIX fell 1.29% and settled at 12.86
 FIIs sold 13 crore while DIIs bought 11 crore in the cash segment. FIIs bought 751 crore in index futures and 992 crore in index options. In stock futures, they sold 109 crore
 The highest Put base is at the 7900 strike with 58 lakh shares while the highest Call base is at the 8100 strike with 65 lakh shares. The 8100 and 8200 Calls witnessed addition of 1.73 and 6.90 lakh shares, respectively. The 8100 and 8000 Put strikes saw addition of 2.75 and 22.20 lakh shares, respectively
 Nifty Future: The Nifty is likely to open flat to positive on the back of mixed global cues. It is likely to trade in the range of 7995-8050. The trading strategy would be to create longs near 7995-8000 for targets of 8030 and 8050
 Bank Nifty Future: One can initiate long trades at 16400-16420 levels for targets of 16520-16600 levels with a stop loss of 16340

INDEX OUTLOOK
 The Nifty witnessed strong recovery from sub 7800 levels prior to Diwali primarily due to the bounce seen in global indices. The Nifty gained almost 3% during the week and finally surpassed 8000 levels due to renewed buying interest among core economy sectors like banking and capital goods.
During the week, major gainers in the Nifty were Tata Motors (9.1%), Hero MotoCorp (8.4%), Maruti (8%), Gail (7.8%) and Larsen & Toubro (6.9%) On the other hand, the losers of the week on the Nifty were Infosys (-1.4%) and ITC (-1.4%)

OI Chart Analysis: From the OI Chart we can see that in October Series addition of open interest on the calls front is existent in the band at strike price of 8200-8100 indicating it as resistance on the up- side whereas on the put options front we can see that addition of open interest is existent at strike price of 7900-7800 indicating it as immediate support zone on the downside
