Emma considers the distributor Metrodome Distributor Group because it distributes similar crime thriller and drama thriller films like her film. These include Let Him Have It and Ordinary People. However, the group ultimately chooses Vertigo Films as the distributor. Vertigo Films has distributed films with similar criminal plots to their crime thriller film Interrogation, such as The Sweeny. Vertigo Films is also conveniently located in London.
2. A possible distributor I have considered is
'Metrodome Distributor Group' reasons for
this because it distributes films similar to
mine.
3. Let Him Have it – 1991
In 1950s England, slow-witted Derek Bentley falls in with a
group of petty criminals led by Chris Craig, a teenager with a
fondness for American gangster films. Chris and Derek's
friendship leads to their involvement in the true case which
would forever shake England's belief in capital punishment.
This is a Crime Thriller which is exactly the same as yours.
4. Ordinary people find extraordinary courage in the face of
madness. On 13-14 November 1990 that madness came to
Aramoana, a small New Zealand seaside village. It came in the
form of a lone gunman with a high-powered semi-automatic
rifle. As he stalked his victims the terrified and confused
residents were trapped in the village for 24 hours while a
handful of under-resourced and under armed local policeman
risked their lives trying to find him and save the survivors. By
dawn 13 people lay dead. This is a true story.
This is a Drama Thriller which is also similar to my media
film.
5. We as a group we decided to chose ‘Vertigo Films’
as a distributor because it’s has done extremely
similar films to our film such as ‘The Sweeny’ this
has a criminal on the run after been questioned of
committing a crime. This is practically the same as
our film as we are after a criminal who’s murdered
someone and stole from a bank. Vertigo films is
also based in London which is extremely
convenient for our film. I feel this is the best
distributor for our crime thriller ‘Interrogation’.
