Clock – Explain that midnight is twelve o'clock. It can be written with numbers: 12:00 a.m. Show the class the hands of the clock. The short hand indicates the hours and the long hand indicates the minutes. Midnight is when both hands on the clock are straight up.
Midnight – When the clock strikes midnight, it is New Year's. People blow party makers and cheer. Music plays.
