What is INTELLLEX
INTELLLEX is a SaaS work space that brings modern
interfaces and intelligence to legal practice. We want to
be the go-to platform that makes the lawyer’s working
life more productive and pleasant.
Our technology will supercharge lawyer capabilities by
providing convenient access to knowledge, unravelling
insights from previous work done, and shortening the
legal research process.
All in all we help modern lawyers redefine how law
practice can intersect with AI technology.

The PROBLEMS we want to solve
DISPARATE DATA SOURCES
The lawyer currently needs to connect the ‘dots’ in a
very manual/tedious manner. These ‘dots’ can refer to:
legal topics, factual matrix, cases, legislation,
commentaries and entities -- which come from various
sources.
We believe that the connection between these ‘dots’
can be automatically derived to provide second-degree
insights/information in a fraction of the time a lawyer
would have taken to do the same manually.
At the center of this all is the Data Warehouse we
would like to consolidate & build -- CAPE.

USER INTERFACE
Productivity tools lawyers use are cluttered and
unwieldy. Currently, there is no good design in
the world of knowledge discovery & retrieval.
We believe that the solution lies in the design of
the infrastructure of knowledge and its
presentation. The implementation of novel
front-end interactions, by way of a well-thought
UX tailored for the legal profession, is the key to
unlocking this knowledge.

Our tech stack:
Ruby on Rails (5.0) - our main back-end language for our customer-facing app
ReactJS - this constitutes the bulk of our front-facing codes
Familiarity with Java and Python- we use these for our search engine, machine learning and NLP
Familiarity with traditional SQL databases
DevOps experience in designing (architecture) and setting up a secure, full web stack: from server → database
→ web browser
Code tests - mandatory for all the features we develop to ensure smooth integration for each development cycle
