1. AN EXCLUSIVE 1 NIGHT EVENT CELEBRATING THE ENTERTAINMENT COMMUNITY,
ITS CREATIVITY, AND ITS FUTURE.
2. Visual marketing and promotion is
everywhere. Once just the domain of
entertainment, it’s being embraced at a
scale never seen before.
Our industry is bigger/more diverse than ever.
We’re TV, streaming, agencies, technology,
banking, consumer brands, etc.
We now live in a hybrid world. Flexibility
to live and work in ways that work for our
personal lives. However it leaves us with
little ability to engage with our
community.
We’re tired of video chatting.
3. The award shows that historically facilitated the majority
of industry networking have now been bought and sold
as they slowly make their way back. There are far less of
them and attendance fees along with a corporate
environment less keen on spending on events not
deemed “necessary” has rendered many of these
in-person opportunities inaccessible for most.
So, what’s left? Where do we turn to find our
community? To share experiences, learn best new
practices, be inspired?

In May of 2022 Carson Hood and Tony
Kadillak launched Assembly. An invite only, one night
event in New York City hosting the entertainment
marketing community. Collectively sponsored by leading
agencies in NYC: BigStar, Thornberg & Forester, Sibling
Rivalry, Pilot, loyalkaspar, and Tröllback.
The first of it’s kind post COVID and the goal was simple:
provide a place for the community to get back together -
in-person - and share in the experiences we had all been
having and feel that camaraderie we were missing.
5. 100+ attendees from all major
streamers, networks, tech cos,
design agencies, and brands
Word of the event got out and
members of the entertainment
marketing community from both
coasts were asking when the
next event would be and how
they could get involved.

7. A well connected community benefits
us all. Our industry is not a zero sum
game, we can be competitive as well as
collaborative.
We need a strong/active dialogue
focused on trends, opportunities, growth,
and careers. “How do we navigate this new
world, together.”
In-person events still represent the
best opportunity to create happy
accidents, creates the most value.
“Who you know” is just as important
as “What you know”.
