2. This was the very first object you see as you’re walking up towards
the Hindu Temple. I thought it was a beautiful piece of art. This
temple, I could feel the piece and tranquil spirits.
3. As you walk up to the temple, you instantly realize that you must take
off your shoes. It was a cultural shock to me, because I never had to
take off shoes in public. As I am walking throughout the temple, I
notice that the janitors have to take off their shoes while cleaning.
4. This is a statue of the Hindu God “ Lord who destroys the sins of the
people". The Hindu scriptures, Vishnu, out of love towards His devotees,
incarnated as Venkateswara and appeared for the salvation of humanity.

ornate details. This god named Sri Padmavathi-Lakshmi was a fierce warrior.
He had wild boar with tusks. He fought well and killed many.
9. You see these amazing sculptors of elephants everywhere you go. I love
how you could see the intricate details, and theirs red and gold throughout
it too.

The red dot on their forehead means high society and marriage. It’s an honor
for Hindu girls to wear it, because it means prosperity.
