ACCESSORY/PRODUCT DESIGNER
OBJECTIVE:To utilize my skills to the best, learn and grow simultaneously with and within an
esteemed organization, work with its creative and dynamic team and which can help me to
realize my potential and to contribute to achieve the organization’s goal.
PROFILE: To work as a designer in an organization and applying my skills and creativity to
create best valuable products so that it results in making profit in the interest of the organization.
EXPERIENCE:
Sept’12-April ‘16 - Fly by Night- Worked as Hardgoods designer and working for buyers Pier
1,Mackenzie-Childs,Evergreen and Michaels. Glass beads are the strength and try it in different
combinations with metal ,wood ,lac .Item range includes napkin
rings,serverware,tablewares,windcharms,gardenstakes,jewelleryboxes,Bar accessories,
Christmas décor and ornaments.
2012 - Exmart International Pvt Ltd- (East of Kailash,New Delhi -10 months)- I was working as
Product designer responsible for designing hard goods like table top items ,christmas products
,office accessories ,stationary items and jewellery as well.Materials explored are lac ,wood,
resin, metal, ceramic .Buyers worked for are pier 1,Biglots,Zara home ,Two’s,Bed Bath and
Beyond, Joan stones, Cost plus ,Cato versona.
College projects-
2011-Jayanita Exports (Patparganj, New Delhi-18 weeks)- Graduation project at an export
house dealing in home furnishing and hard goods. My project concerned with hard goods
including garden accessories and curtain rods. Worked for buyers like Target,Biglots ,Shoppers
Stop, lifestyle.
2010-Craft Cluster Project (Jhabua, M.P- 2 weeks)- Initiative to help, develop and promote the
handicraft sector of the selected rural cluster. Worked with (Beadwork) of Jhabua (M.P) and
came up with a jewellery & lifestyle range.
2010-Design Co ( export house in Moradabad-2 months)- Understanding the material handling
and different processes(Wood,metal,leather,glass,resin) used in manufacturing lifestyle
products. Designing intervention in lifestyle and fashion products (show pieces, lighting, wall art,
lamps, christmas décor ,gift ware,furniture,bathroom accessories, kitchen accessories, and wide
range of lifestyle accessories).
Worked for buyers likeTarget,Kohls,Macy’s,Kmart,Wallmart,J.C.Penny,Smith & Hawken,Biglots.
