Sara will give an overview of the aims of the summer school and the theme of each day. She will introduce EUDAT and the other infrastructure providers collaborating on the content and delivery. She will also explain the workshop format and structure so participants understand the expected inputs and intended learning outcomes.

The EUDAT Summer School aims to introduce early-
career researchers to the principles and tools needed
for careers in data intensive science and data
management, and is applicable to those working with big
data, as well as researchers from less data-intensive
communities.

DMP is the common factor
“social”: The participants stay at the same hotel and have
lunches and meals together. In the evenings, there are
