Technical & Scope of works
HSE Officer Role and responsibilities:
 Conducting first day work orientation/safety
induction to all newly employees and visitors
 Conducting safety toolbox meeting with each
department within company
 Organize and conducting daily, weekly,
monthly safety inspection with each team
leader within company
 Carried out activity risk assessment for the
specially category jobs and provided it to the
safety superintendent along with the work
permit and special permit as well
 Supervise working activities in the company
project area, mainly at the high risk places and
safety preventive action
 Conducting and preparing the incident
investigation occurred within project area,
prepare thorough investigation report and
submit it to authorized personnel
 Develop and deliver the Basic Life Support
Training / First Aid Training to all company
and contractors workers
 Develop and deliver the BBST(Behaviors
Based Safety Training) to all company and
contractors workers
 Development and exercising of emergency
preparedness plans on the project
 Whenever medical personnel unavailable on
the project, proficient to provide primary
emergency/medical assistance to the injured or
sick personnel, manage and perform medical
evacuation if necessary
 Supervise and preparation of various safety
sign and installation as required inside the
worksite
 Provide daily, weekly, monthly safety report

Emergency paramedic role and responsibilities:
 Provide primary response to medical
emergencies and perform necessary medical
care under supervision of company doctor
 Under guidance from Occupational Health
doctor, perform health risk assessment and
evaluation to project site and personnel
 Release fit for duty documents for new arrival
on project with the approval of Occupational
Health doctor
 Routine hygiene & safety audit to field area,
together with HSE committee
 Once a week, deliver health & safety talk and
conduct work site toolbox meeting
 Perform infectious disease control
management by tracking & screening infected
worker and direct contact
 Develop and conduct first aid training to all
new personnel on site
 Provide intensive basic life support and
emergency response management to all

emergency incident together with Emergency

 Participate in fire drill/exercises on project
