This fish was different from the others in how he thought and acted, causing him to be an outcast. As he grew up, he realized he was not truly different and that the others were perceiving him incorrectly. Rather than change himself, he decided to help the other fish and bring them together, allowing him to be himself and friends with all.
The Tale of a Fish Who Helped Others Be Themselves
1. This tale is one that not many have heard. This is the tale of a fish that did something out of the
ordinary. This fish was no one special. He was just what some people would call different. He thought
and acted differently than what the other younger fish did. He learned quickly and liked to learn new
things. Him doing this resulted in him being an outcast. He would ponder long and hard on why he was
not like the other fish and why he was not accepted as a friends. The more he pondered these thought
the more he became upset. He realized that he has the same daily routine as the other fish, the same
goals, and even the same dreams, so why did they not accept him. Every day the fish would ponder
these thoughts and as this fish grew and was molded into a teenage fish he learned that he was not so
different from the other fish. It was not him that was the so called problem, it was how the others
perceived him. Him realizing this he made a decision that most other fish would not make. Most fish
would change who they were and how they acted so they would make friends and fit in with a select
crowd, but he like to have what some would say his own bowl. As he progressed in life and learning he
realize that everyone that had made him an outcast was having a harder time succeeding than him. It
was then he realized what he needed to do. He decided to help all the other fish. He would jump from
group to group helping people and making friends along the way. So in the end since he decided to be
who he was and not conform to one specific group he now was able to be himself. Have his own bowl
and get to be friends with everyone.
