Leadership Experience
Eagle Project: Landscaping for Challenger Middle School in Colorado Springs, CO; Lead a
group of volunteers to remove a large juniper and railroad ties and replace with dogwood, stone,
and rock; planed the project for a year before executing; planned everything from materials
needed and who is coming to how much will it cost and where the nearest hospital is in case of
emergency. July 2013
National Youth Leadership Training: Staffed for three years giving presentations and teaching
young Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts how to be leaders; course lasted a week at a time; I first
started doing small presentations to groups of six and then getting more major leadership roles, I
presented in front of the whole camp of about 50-60 campers. June 2014, 2015, 2016

2. Volunteer Experience
Holy Theophany Orthodox Church: Altar Server; assist the priest with the service and hand him
the censor during important blessings; prepare the communion bread and wine; hold a candle
during the three “Entrances.” 2005 to 2014
Agia Sophia Coffee Shop: Washing dishes for 7 hours & prepared a couple easy dishes on the
menu September 2014
Project Mexico: Helped families in Mexico by building small houses in Tijuana; stayed at an
orphanage and played soccer and board games with and prayed with boys at the orphanage; it
was a mission’s trip sponsored by my church, the Holy Theophany Summer 2015
Colorado College Soup Kitchen: Food Server; served in a food line at St. Mary’s for homeless
and needy
Trail construction: Done at Philmont Scout Ranch during 10 day back packing trip; repaired an
old trail by trimming down the inside to prevent corrosion Summer 2013
More trail construction done at Glen Aspen Scout Ranch with my Venture Crew 5771; Did 300
feet in 2 hours and 30 minutes, trail is for scouts to hike between campsites without treading
through grass and trees October 2016
