A summary of
the most importantworksand achievements in the Healthcare sector / S.A.Ghodran Group
that include Hospital & Dispensary & Chain of Pharmacies
during the year 2015
(Since I assumed its duties and responsibilities)
1. Development of regulatory structure for the Healthcare sector (Hospital, Pharmacies,
Dispensary). Create and activate new departments and sections (Quality, Continuous
Education, Business Development, Information Technology)
2. Lead the Hospital Team for two months hardworking in the preparation and training to get the
CBAHI certificate (Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions), and give the
Quality Administration a special importance and continue coordination specially in reviewing
of Policy & Procedures, Job Description, Performance Appraisal. As well as giving the
Continuous Education Administration the same importance and follow-up in the weekly
lectures that are given to doctors, nurses, technicians and other staff, and to provide their credit
hours when necessary.
3. Prepare and activate the "Bonus system" to motivate doctors to increase hospital income, and
linked to a number of criteria such as inpatients number, rejected files from insurance
companies, and the patient satisfaction. Resulting in increased productivity and increased the
hospital occupancyrate from 3% to 30% after several months.
4. Apply practical plans to solve the extreme shortage in nursing department through an
agreement to increase the weekly work hours for each nurse in a fixed overtime schedule.
5. Preparing the budget for the Healthcare Sectordespite the shortage of available data and the
weakness of financial department.
6. Active participation in the monthly meetings of "Sectors Headsin S. A. Ghodran Group" and
providing presentations about the situation in the Healthcare sector (strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats). As well as providing to Chairman of Healthcare sectora detailed
weekly report on the most important achievements, issues and events during the week.
7. Implement periodic meetings of "Executive Committee" at least once a month, take actions
and follow-up with relevant directors and department heads. As well as the establishment of
committees in the hospital, and chaired two committees and follow up on the results of other
committees and provide supportin solving problems. As well as supervision and follow-up on
patients' rights and educate patients and discuss the results of the work of social services
periodically.
8. Establish many relations of cooperationwith the Ministry of Health, University of Al-Baha,
Government Hospitals, Dispensaries, Baljurashi Province and Municipality.
9. Meetings with Directors of the insurance companies and work together to improve the current
agreements between us, and follow a new mechanism to facilitate the payment of dues as
prompt payment.
10.Daily coordination with the Medical Affairs Director and the Administration Affairs Director,
and do a weekly round in hospital departments, and monthly round to the Dispensary and
external pharmacies in Al-Baha region. And conducting regular meetings in the Banquet Hall
with all doctors (4 times yearly) and with the other staffs (twice a year), then analyzing their
satisfactions and created - accordingly - a Corrective Action Plan.
11.Create new Salaries Scale, new forms & templates, and new form of labor contract
commensurate with the Saudi labor laws and internal law of hospital. Note: Number of
hospital staff is 250 (their salaries ~ 1.300.000SR), of Pharmacies staff is 100 (their salaries ~
500.000SR), and of Dispensary is 50 (their salaries ~ 200.000SR). /// (Total~ 400 employees /
2.000.000SR monthly salaries).
12.Studied offers from many corporates of IT (information technology), and choosethe most
appropriate. As well as prepared price list of medical services provided in the hospital with
new codes associated in the type of services and section and specialty, through new
mechanism for encoding.
13.Supervising on the inventory of pharmacies and warehouse, use the Barcode system, and
activate the computer use in pharmacies through the binding process with the main warehouse
to see shortages, purchasing orders, productivities and to prepare the necessary reports.
14.Solving the problem of "expired date items" in the main warehouse (amounting to
6.000.000SR) after many negotiations with companies and obligated them to discount part of
amount due and compensate expired materials, even we start paying them part of amounts due
(part of debts not paid in the required date).
15.Assessment and Re-maintenance of some medical devices (in departments of Radiology,
Laboratory, and Sterilization), and update many equipment in NICU department (Neonatal
Intensive care unit) supported bymilk companies that we deal with. As well as prepared new
feasibility study to purchase ophthalmology equipment (in the operating room) and
implementation of this study.
