Daycroft School Foundation, which awards former students and administrative staff for their
contributions to the community. Located in Stamford, Connecticut, the foundation focuses on
integrating Christian Science philosophy with education and supports institutions whose
teachings utilize its principles.

Before 1991, the Daycroft School Foundation operated its own college preparatory program that
encouraged individuality and community contribution. Although the foundation no longer
provides a traditional classroom education, it now offers an international program by which
Christian Science families can access educational resources for their children. A program that
aims to promote individual and intellectual growth, the Daycroft Online Learning Community
(OLC) provides education solutions for children who are either homeschooled or enrolled in
traditional schools.

Options for students enrolled in traditional schools include math, reading, and electives
potentially not offered at their school. The program serves grades K-12, with summer school
options for students up to fifth grade and SAT prep and AP courses for high school students. In
addition, students in grades 6-12 can take credit recovery courses.

Daycroft OLC’s homeschooling curriculum contains over 200 courses and a series of character
education opportunities designed for grades K-5. In addition, the homeschooling program
provides online seminars to help parents improve their learning coach skills, and critical thinking
seminars for high school and junior high students. Though families must obtain their own
computer with a high-speed Internet connection, Daycroft OLC will provide the support,
material, and courses.
