 C MATER OCR(OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION) under Dr. Nibaran Das(Jadavpur University).
AIM: Extract textual characters (English language) from STATIC images. Given a grey scale image of
characters as input the task is to recognise the character and assign the corresponding ASCII values to the
recognized characters.
This project was handled by a team of 3 students . Incorporation of speech recognition is an aim.
 “ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK BASED OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES FOR THE AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION
OF HANDWRITTEN BENGALI AND ENGLISH CHARACTERS.” -Under Professor Nibaran Das(Jadavpur
University).
 Secured a rank of 238 in WBJEE and got a seat in Jadavpur University.
 A volunteer and a core team member (CENTER HEAD)of India’s largest Youth Organisation called
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
 With an amenable nature I served the school as a SPORTS SECRETARY to the satisfaction of the concerned
authorities.
