t the age of 16, in the swinging 60s, Twiggy Lawson
became one of the first international supermodels.
Her striking eye makeup set trends then and is all
the rage again. Here’s how to flaunt this flirty look.
Apply two coats
of mascara. For
exaggerated lashes,
stick on falsies using
eyelash glue and
tweezers. (Tip: Layer
on mascara if you
don’t want to use
false eyelashes.)
Brush on a light coat of
mascara to blend the false
and real lashes.
Now stick 2-4 individual
lashes clumped together
on your lower lashes. Place
these lashes under your real
lashes, starting at the outer
edge. (Tip: Hate falsies?
Paint the bottom lashes on
the lash line, like Twiggy did!)

Use off-white eyeshadow.
For colour, use blue or green
instead. Apply on eyelids and
inner corner of your eyes.
Line your natural eyelid
crease with grey/black
eyeshadow using an eyeliner
brush. Smudge the line a bit.
Line eyes with gel liner.
Instead of an upward wing,
bring it down to give your
eyes the droopy 60s’ look.
