This document highlights four hidden gems in New York City: The Little Red Lighthouse, built in 1906 and featuring early examples of neo-Gothic architecture; the Vanderbilt Gate, a 19th century wrought iron entrance to Central Park's Conservatory Garden; the Little Red Lighthouse, a decommissioned 1921 lighthouse located under the George Washington Bridge; and the Van Cortlandt House Museum, the oldest house in the Bronx built in 1748 and now serving as a museum.
