If y=(x-c)/d, then x’=c+d*y’
Here y=(x-110)/13
So that, c=110 and d=13
therefore, mean present cost per

140-160 13 150 40 3.08 39.99
From the survey, it was observed that
 17 customer having less than 40 test per month,
therefore average test=20
 17 customer having in between 40 to 80 test per
month, so that average test=(40+80)/2=60.
 19 customer having in between 80 to 150 test
per month, so that the average test=115 test.
 14 customer having more than 150 test per
month.
Therefore, the test per
month=(17*20)+(17*60)+(19*115)+(14*150)=340+1
020+2185+2100=5645
Average test per month=5645/67=84.25
 Total user and non-user customer (HbA1C test) in
Kolkata area is 800.
 From my survey, it is evident that, 39% are non-
user in Kolkata area.
Therefore, the total user in Kolkata=800-(800*0.39)
=488
Therefore total test per month=84.25*448=41114
So that, total HbA1C test per year in Kolkata
area=41114*12=4,93,368 test
Therefore, the market size of HbA1C test
=4,93,368*121.93
=Rs.6,01,56,360.24
=Rs. 6 Cr (approx).
 80% is constituted of diagnostic centre and
laboratories and rest of 20% is Hospital
 61% is performing HbA1C test.
 Market leader HPLC followed by Ion
Exchange
 Customers are wanted the economic cost per
test.
 The estimator market growth is nearly 50% in
next three years.
 Market share of HbA1C test:
 the market leader is HPLC method, captured
by 67% market.
 Ion-Exchange method is 27%.
 Immunoturbidimetric and Enzymatic is
covered by 4% and 2% respectively.
 Market size:
 Is 6 Cr.
 Present cost per test is Rs. 121.93
