To Whom It May Concern:
With great pleasure we had Davis Kanor in our team for his master studies and thesis in a period of
1.5 years.
Davis integrated in the research group very well. His communication before he came to us and during
his study was excellent. Davis can combine enthusiasm to engage for our planet with a spirit to
explore new fields.
From September 2013 until January 2015 I have had the enjoyment of knowing Davis in academic
and personal settings. As head of the green roof competence center of the Zurich University of
Applied Sciences, we introduced him in our team with bio-, technical, standards-norms consultancy
specialists.
Davis was very engaged and wanted to learn as much as he can during his time at our University. He
proposed his own ideas to develop research questions in the field of green roofs based on his
background. Based on his findings in the master thesis it would be challenging and a “must” to
continue this research field, ideally in a PhD thesis.
I have witnessed the integrity, responsibility, and ambition that Davis possesses.
