Digital Printing is making
its presence felt throughout the
printing world. The PCA have had
several 2013 meetings educating
us on the latest developments in
this exciting technology. The Riso
29th
October evening was another
special PCA meeting venue. The
Crystal Towers is very up-market,
however, the Comcolor Series
presentation by Dave Fulton and
his enthusiastic Riso team was also top class. We were introduced to this extremely practical, purpose
designed and built digital machinery which prints single sheets at very high speeds, copes with multi-
weight substrates, is very cost effective and environmentally friendly to mention but a few of its great
innovations. We all enjoyed the evening, great hospitality and refreshments as well as networking with
the other Riso guests.
NEXT MEETING – PRESENTATION
“THE CRIME SQUAD”
For our last meeting of the year we are giving printing a break!
We are indeed fortunate to have Lt Colonel Jerome Hardenberg agree to come
and give a presentation on the crime fighting activities of the Hawks. He will be
giving us their side of investigating the high level of fraud which takes place in the
business world. We all have a great respect for the men and women who devote
their careers to chasing down the perpetrators of these illegal activities. This work
demands a special type of skill and intelligence and it will be a fascinating evening sharing this very
specialised knowledge with our guest.
Join us in rounding-off the PCA year with this very different presentation!
