NovembertoDecember1993. PettyOfficerDulacconsistentlyperformedhisdemandingdutiesinan
exemplaryandhighlyprofessional manner.Displayingdeterminationandexceptional technical
expertise,he ensuredhisrepairteamcompletedclass"B"overhaulsontwoAN/UGC6k teletypesina
timelyandprofessional manner. Withminimal logistical supportandtechnical information,he devoted
over200 hourstowardsrepairingequipmentthatwasinsuchpoor conditionthatithad beenclassified
as "non-repairable"byShore Intermediate Maintenance ActivityMayport,Florida. Asa resultof his
exceptionaltechnicalskillsandaggressiveresourcefulness,vital communicationscapabilitieswere
restored,twoINSURV discrepancieswere corrected,andthousandsof dollarsinequipmentreplacement
costs were saved. PettyOfficerDulac'sexceptional professionalismandselflessdevotiontoduty
reflectedgreatcredituponhimself andwere inkeepingwiththe highesttraditionof the Naval Service."
