1. BJ Habibie
Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (BJ) Habibie was born in Parepare, South Sulawesi, June 25,
1936. he was the third President of the Republic of Indonesia.He was the fourth child of eight
children, couples Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and RA. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. Shortly after his
father died, his mother sell the house and car and then moved to London with Habibie, in there
Habibie studying at Gouvernments Middlebare School. In high school, habibie a favorite figure
he began to look outstanding achievements, especially in the exact sciences lessons.
Because of his intelligence, having graduated from high school on 1954, he entered at the
ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology), he did not finish his study there because he got a
scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture to continue his studies in Germany.
When he go to Germany, he was determined to be sincerely and successful, given the mother's
efforts to finance his college and life day-to-day.He received his Diploma Ing, from the
Technische Hochschule, Germany in 1960 with honors Cumlaude (Perfect) with an average
value of 9.5. After that he then continued his studies for a PhD at the Technische Hochschule
Fuer Die Facultaet Maschinenwesen Aachean. In 1965 Habibie was graduated with an average of
10 of the Technische Hochschule Fuer Die Facultaet Maschinenwesen Aachean.The formula is
found by Habibie called "Habibie Factor" because it can count cracks or krack propagation on
random atoms to the plane that he was dubbed as "Mr. Krack". In 1967, to honor Professor
(Professor) at the Institute of Technology Bandung.
Habibie married with Hasri Ainun Habibie on 1962, and was blessed with two sons
namely Ilham Akbar and Thareq Kemal,both born in Germany. they live with Habibie in
Germany. someday, his life getting harder, in the early morning Habibie sometimes had to walk
quickly to the work because needs to save his money for his family life and then go home at
night and study for college, his wife Hasri Ainun Habibie had to wash some clothes.
BJ Habibie has truly been an eternal inspiration for us. His mind-set has always been as a
problem solver, professional, and leader by heart. He has inspired us that we’re able. He will
always be remembered as a good person who continuously work hard for his people. His great
legacy will always be continued. Now it’s our turn. It’s our time. Let us also be a problem solver,
optimist, hard worker, contributor, and inspiring human being as he has always been.
