1. Script for ‘The Searchers’
INT. OFFICE ROOM
(Starts of with a flashback of what will happen later on in the film. Eduardo beings in the office
reception, the camera pans up and you can hear a ringtone he then answers the phone and there is
a close up of his face.)

Eduardo- Phone RingsHello Silence Okay, Ill met you in the car park.
(Eduardo then walks out into the car park, the camera follows his movement, this is followed by
another close up of Eduardo on the phone.)

Eduardo- I’m in the car park, where are you? silence
(The camera then follows Ciarans movement whilst he is ‘chasing’ Eduardo. This includes a slow
motion shot of Eduardo falling over and also a panning shot of Ciaran walking.)

- Slow Motion/ no dialogue
(The camera is then handheld to make it seem more effective followed by a gunshot.)
- Hand held/ no dialogue
- Upwards shot/ no dialogue
(The flashback finishes and they are now in the office building crossing each other, they shake
hands.)

Eduardo- Alright
Ciaran- I heard your looking for the miss bronchoski case, the information is in the filing cabinet.
(Eduardo is then in the office where there is a close up of the board including information about
missing people)

(the scene then fades out into the subtitles, the subtitles are shown with a rotation in the camera
and a close up on the names and job roles)
(Eduardo then sits at his desk where he finds a enevelope, he looks inside the evelope to find a check
and her there are two different close ups)

(This follows by a title sequence of ‘The searchers’ which includes a typing effect.)
