3. Introduction:-
Erbil is ancient citadel stands at
the center of this fast growing
city. It is high walls ring the edg
of a mound that already
reaches up 30 metres above
the modern city. below it can
be seen clearly for miles. And it
is one of the most dramatic
sights anywhere in the Middle
East!

Erbil citadel is one of the greatest
historical landmarks of today’s
humanitarian history, It is difficult
now to define when did the citadel
built but we have some signs that
the erbil citadel have been built
4000 years ago. And some of the
most importan development in
human history were made in this
regione by early civilizations like
theirs the start of farming for
example and the invention of

contains approximately
500 houses and other
building but no one lives
in the citadel because it
is afraid that it will be
collapse.

prefectly circular it
has an average
diameter of

metrs and it covers
an Area 102,000
square meater.

Erbil citadel is an ancient
place in Erbil and the
Middle East. That tourists
visit daily, has beautified
the city and given it an
attractive view.
