The BBC 1 channel mainly sticks to basic programmes that don't usually deal with the everyday scenario of disability, it wont do anything controversial and is a more old fashioned station offering a less inventive schedule then others such as channel 4. On recognition of this BBC launched its new channel BBC Three so that it would be able to create a more varied range of programming.
