Study and work on crops/plants at molecular level for the crop improvement. Presently working on "bulk segregant analysis (BSA) for yellow mosaic virus (YMV) in mungbean (Vigna radiata L.)" and "genetic diversity of Vigna species using molecular markers" centre of excellence for research on pulses (CERP). Study on biotic and abiotic stress at molecular level to make some usefull contribution for the improvement of crop species. Crossing techniques in mungbean, pigeonpea and some other pulses. Also intrested in environmental biotechnology especially bioremediation, wastewater analysis and phytoremediation.
