Welcome

Home! Five homes that give a killer
                   first impression

        I
n this magazine we tend to focus on the interior
design of homes, usually showing just a small
inset of the exterior. But we got to thinking:
The façade of a house is much like an invitation to a
party—a gauge of things to come. So why not high-
light pretty houses around town that catch the eye
         of the passerby?
We jumped in the car and drove…and drove.
Millbank, Round Hill, Shore Road, Lake Avenue,
Clapboard Ridge…we logged lots of miles search-
ing for homes with the coveted curb appeal that homeowner’s favorite

                                                                                                                                      aspect of the house
Let’s just say that it sounds a lot easier than it “We enjoy the views of the

lots of oak trees and stone walls in this town.)
