This document contains introductions from several 11-year-old students in Greece. George G. lives in Greece and plays basketball and football in his free time. Konstadinos S. likes math and geography and plays table tennis. Evelina enjoys Greek language and dancing lessons, especially zumba. Martina lives in Ilioupolis with her family and dog and likes animals, basketball, reading, and meeting friends. Angela M. has a brother, sister, mom, and dad and likes dancing, tae-kwon-do, tennis, and volleyball.

1. Dear friends,
My name is George G. and I live in Greece.
I’m 11 years old and my birthday is on 30th March. I go to the
sixth class of Primary school. This is my last year in primary
school.
I have a large head with brown eyes and short hair. I have a
big mouth and a small nose and I’m 1.61 cm tall.
In my free time I play basketball and football. I play in the
basketball junior team of my town, Ilioupolis.
My name is Konstadinos S. and I’m 11 years old. I start
school at 8:10 a.m. every day.
I play table tennis. I’m very good at it. My favourite subjects
are Maths and Geography. I always go to school but not when
I’m ill.
At school I like running. I am a very good child and I hope I’ll
always be so.
My name is Evelina. I am eleven years old. I go to the sixth
grade of primary school. I do English and German lessons. My
favourite subject is Greek Language. I love dancing! I have
dance classes every day. My favourite class is Zunba! I am
happy and energetic in this class.
I love going out especially to the mountains but I also love
swimming!
I love cooking and making special desserts!

2. Hi! My name is Martina! I come from Suncity (Ilioupolis),
Greece. I live here with my parents, my brother and my dog,
Alfie. Alfie is a little beautiful Yorkshire terrier.
I have got long, wavy, brown hair and big brown eyes. I’m tall
and thin.
I love animals very much. I also play basketball and I have
English and German lessons.
In my free time I play tennis, I read books and I meet my
friends.
Hi! My name is Angela M. and I am from Greece. I have one
brother and one sister. Their names are Manos and Markella. I
have got a good mum and a good dad. Their names are Helen
and Nick. I have got a dog. Her name is Frinda. I like animals.
I like dancing and tae-kwon-do. I like playing tennis and
volleyball. I have got short brown hair and brown eyes, too. I
am of medium height and medium weight.
