Dinosaurs didn’t roam Manitoba -- they swam
it! During the Cretaceous (80 million years
ago) Manitoba was right in the heart of a
saltwater ocean called The Western Interior
Seaway. This seaway was home to some of
history’s most fearsome creatures - turtles the
size of cars, toothed birds
and aquatic lizards longer
than a bus, all on display at
the CFDC!
