Living
with Aspergers
75% of people
are extroverts.
We’re introverts
Connecting with others
is difficult
But we can often focus on a single
task much better than others
and finish it
Networking is key to success in
any endeavor.
We have an extremely hard time
doing that.
We are hypersensitive to our
environment and loud noises,
someone touching, bright lights,
etcetera in ordinary situations
cause discomfort.
Our level of joy is often different
than that of “normal” people.
We can find comfort in being
alone.
Because I’ve lived with Aspergers
all my life and structures my life
and profession around it, I used it
as the template for a character in
my latest thriller series.
Set in New york City, 1977, when
I was growing up, Will Kane is a
Vietnam Vet, ex-Green Beret,
working as a fixed who has
Aspergers. His interpersonal
relationships are somewhat
lacking, except when it comes to
one thing he is very, very good at.
Killing.
New York Times bestselling author, is a graduate of West Point and
former Green Beret. He’s had over 80 books published, including the
#1 bestselling series Green Berets, Time Patrol, Area 51, and Atlantis.

traveled the world. He’s lived on an island off the east coast, an island
