Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on
Feb. 13, 2018.
• Meets all requirements of the “Naming”
policy

3. Recommendations
• Extensive discussion by Council at March 22 meeting.
• Unanimously approved renaming the facility to the “Bob and
Wanda Meyer Community Center”.
• Requested by the Senior Advisory Committee to be revisited
by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. After discussion
at the April 10 Board meeting, the Board voted 6-1 to ask
Council to reconsider the renaming to be the “Bob and Wanda
Meyer Senior & Community Center”.
• Council requested that the item be put back on a future
agenda for further discussion and consideration.
