I am an interdisciplinary biologist with experience working at the interface of microbiology, environmental science, geography, and genetics. I earned a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology studying the virulence of an amphibian fungal pathogen called Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (commonly known as chytrid fungus) in the James Lab at the University of Michigan. I completed my undergraduate studies in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Geography at the University of Puerto Rico- Río Piedras Campus.
