C.A. Good Museum services provides collections care and registration training, consultation, and project
management, as well as exhibit services from concept to installation. My mission is to assist dedicated
artifact repositories in preserving and creating access to our local and national treasures.

Exhibit creation and Research January 1999
Researched, designed, fabricated and installed exhibit of Revolutionary War artifacts
from Battle of Valcour Island and Battle of Saratoga.
Created museum outreach program for schools January 2000
Researched and designed a museum outreach program for Fort Halifax, a French and
Indian War fort in Winslow, Maine. The curriculum met then Maine State Learning
Standards in History, Math and Science for grade school students. Schools still use the
curriculum a decade later.

Cataloged manuscripts and objects, which had been on exhibit, and scanned exhibit
photographs into Re:Discovery database in order to make collection available to
researchers in a digital format.

Researched and designed the Lobstah! From Plate to Bait exhibit, on display in 2004.
Redesigned, fabricated and installed scrimshaw exhibit with mirrors for double-sided

Led school tours of natural history, history, art and geology collections. Researched, designed,
fabricated and installed exhibit on the Rangeley Boat.

Accessioned, cared for, catalogued, and exhibited maritime photograph and object collections
related to the Los Angeles area. Collaborated with archivist on development of cataloguing
standards manual. Created rotating mini-exhibits several times a year on Naval, maritime art
and maritime history subjects.
Falmouth Historical Society, Falmouth, MA January 2008-May 2010
Curator and Public Relations Assistant
Cared for and interpreted material for historic house. Researched, designed, fabricated and
installed rotating yearly exhibits on local historical figures, agriculture and the local whaling
industry. Catalogued, rehoused, and cared for object and photo collections. Chaired the
Collections Committee and accessioned items into the collection. Developed content for press
releases, programming/event posters, museum brochures and rack cards and other public
relations materials.

Serve as the Museum’s registrar, archivist, librarian, exhibit designer, curator, education liaison
with local high school, liaison with service providers, after-hours security presence, and other
duties as assigned. Manage a core team of 9 volunteers in archives, library and curatorial
capacities. Created the Museum’s disaster management plan.
