                       Traffic Planning Proposal

Background
• Save Our Neighborhood (SON) is interested in generating win-win propositions
for not only the Poplar Bridge neighborhood but the City of Bloomington as a
    whole.

• Our concerns arise as the result of the past trials of turn restrictions. We believe
the current proposed turn restrictions do not go far enough to mitigate traffic for
    the entire Poplar Bridge Neighborhood.

• All of the following ideas have been utilized successfully in and around
Bloomington as well as a number of other Metropolitan suburban neighborhoods
and in the City of Minneapolis.

• We agree that there is no one magic solution, SON believes that the magic is in
finding the right combination of smart changes.

• SON believes that leveraging and fine tuning the existing infrastructure and
resources are the most prudent place to start.
