Subject: Referral Letter for Christopher Allen
Dear Director,
Christopher is currently a Vet Corps Navigator at Antioch University in Seattle. He has
done a professional, thorough job in helping every veteran and dependent that has gone to him
for assistance. He has helped student veterans, their families, and also other veterans who are
not students at Antioch University. He has helped in numerous ways such as helping find
employment, legal services, social services, financial services, medical services, and mental
health counseling.
He is an important member of the Antioch University team working closely with the staff,
faculty and student body. They collaborate in helping the student veteran/family in obtaining
services that will aid the individual with their education needs or which is needed off campus.
He has done a great amount of outreach to our community partners off campus to build strong
working relationships and ensure there are solid resources for our veterans when they are
needed.
He is excellent at communicating with others. He updates me during and after he has
helped a veteran, especially when they need resources off campus or when he has referred
them to me. He thoroughly completes the required intake form that describes how he has aided
a veteran family and recording their personal demographic information (I will attach the form in
my email). He communicates well in person, by phone, and email. His position timekeeping
and reporting/resource logs in America Learns are always complete and on time. I do know that
he will be a valuable addition to your team.
Sincerely,
Erle Hunter
