majors
Study abroad delays graduation

Diego’s campus, and sometimes may even be cheaper. Check out our
Scholarships Database to search for all of the opportunities available to

abroad each year.
UC San Diego consistently ranks in the Top

12. FINANCIAL AID TIPS12
pao.ucsd.edu
When looking for a more cost effective study
abroad program, look at programs that occur
during the academic year.
Financial Aid is available for programs during the
summer and fall. However summer is viewed as a
non-essential term and there is less aid available.
Cost of a program is heavily dependent on the
cost of living in a particular location. Consider
places where the dollar is worth more or consider
small towns vs big cities.
