New, young, fresh, traditional. A Viennese inn, café, restaurant, beer pub and bar
in one. Variable seating arrangements and clever structuring of the space provide
cheerful and comfortable flair. Finely finished surfaces and a modern, graphic form
language transmit a modern spirit. For instance, the original bulky concrete counter
was sand-blasted and roughened. Instead of the typical paneling, conically shaped
wood pieces wrap the walls. Custom-made items made of wood with a love for detail
and design pieces by Piet Hein Eek, Tom Dixon and Louis Poulsen provide the visual
and haptic proof of honest materials.
