The aim of this presentation is to show how Ionic and Loopback can be used to build a hybrid mobile app.

3. AN APP INTHREE STEPS
1. Install ionic and cordova command line tools.
npm install -g cordova ionic
2. Create the app
ionic start myApp tabs/blank/sidemenu
3. Run your application
ionic platform add ios/android
ionic emulate ios/android
ionic build ios/android

4. LoopBack
• Ease of use. Using the
LoopBackYeoman
generator
• Provides a web UI to help
explore your REST API.
• Supports multiple to
databases e.g. Oracle,
PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL
Server, MongoDB
Powerful node.js framework for creating APIs and easily connecting to backend
data sources.
