Made by Originals, Thailand’s award
winning Boutique Developer, Absolute
World Group commissioned the
internationally renowned Archer Humphryes
Architects to design The Beach Samui.
A further collaboration with YOO Design
Studio was arranged to consult on elements
of the interior design, which was then
undertaken and developed by Julieann
Humphryes and David Archer of the
celebrated Archer Humphryes partnership,
and a close relationship with Charlotte Rose
Melsom, Absolutes World’s Global Director
of Brand Development.

C O N T R A S T
A pattern was established to make larger
panels from the small tiles and meticulously
the entire building was dressed from top
to bottom with the Green Sukabumi, and
as a perfectly beautiful contrast, trailing
electric pink Bougainvillea dramatically sets
off the colours.
The building holds its own against the
natural backdrops of emerald seas and
vivid blue skies, the texture of the tiles and
the sporadic rusty shades bleeding from the
pores of the stone compliment the rustic air
of the village.

We have considered every detail to ensure
our guests comfort. From brass watering
cans besides each Cabana to wash the
sand from your feet before you relax, to
personal cool boxes filled with fresh fruit,
suncream and water, to complimentary
fresh fruit ices during essential sunbathing
hours, to a fresh juice cart if you would like
your morning smoothie muddled at your
door. All served by your dedicated and
relaxed Beach Samui team.

The brief called for an opulent,
sophisticated Indochinese inspired
colonial interior design.
Washed oak wall linings, bespoke
furnishings, a pallet of muted sea tones,
polished terrazzo floors and handpicked
trimmings are a symbol of the exuberance
that has been applied to the design of each
of the 21 apartments.

The Botanical Bar with its opulent marble
bar over looked by striking hand blows
glass chandeliers, set against a wall of
living herbs, will be operated by skilled
Mixologists who will infuse and muddle
cocktails with the finest natural ingredients
and the skill of an apothecary.

wellbeing. As well as Ayurvedic treatments,
traditional and modern massage, an
amethyst crystal steam room, a rain room,
TechnoGym Visioweb fitness centre and
limestone plunge pool – the spa facilities
will provide a wide range of holistic

healing, reiki, yoga, deep tissue sports
massage, colon hydrotherapy and detox
programmes, counselling, hypnotherapy
