2. Prison Ministry
Advancing the kingdom, by equipping the church to
share their faith with the world. To build a successful life.
3. What does it mean in Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of
the glory of God” ?
When was the last time you felt
hopeless?
4. God is awakening His people to the
opportunities awaiting us ,and
prison ministry is one of the the
most effective methods of
evangelism.
Imagine what it would be like for any family
in North America to be able to recover from
the effects of incarceration…
5. Texas statistics prove that the recidivism rate
for incarcerated men and women returning
home from prison is currently 67%
Men and women
often re-offend with a
worse crime than the
one which originally
sent them to prison.
Ex. A DWI offense
turns into a
possession of
controlled
substance…or a
simple burglary
becomes an
aggravated robbery Clearly Christ
changes lives
Offenders
attending and
completing a
single faith
based program
Rate of
recidivism
drops to 17%
through
Christian
programs,su
ccess goes
up
6. Life on the Rock
is committed to outreach
He said to them, “Go into all the world and
preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark
16:15
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his
name;
make known among the nations what he
has done. Psalm 105:1
In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his
name;
make known among the nations what he
has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
Isaiah 12:4
7. Why do we go?
Matt. 25:36
Naked, and ye
clothed me: I was
sick, and ye visited
me: I was in prison,
and ye came unto
me.
8. How can you help?
Acts 20:35 I have
shewed you all
things, how that so
labouring ye ought to
support the weak,
and to remember the
words of the Lord
Jesus, how he said, It
is more blessed to
give than to receive.
2 Corinthians 9:7 -
Every man according
as he purposeth in
his heart, [so let him
give]; not grudgingly,
or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful
giver.
9. Support for the
ministry
Prayers for the will of God to be
done in the hearts of men and
women so they would come to the
saving grace of Jesus, and into a
successful relationship with
confidence in Christ through the
preaching of the gospel.
Prayer for restoration of a right
mind and the family unit be in like
mindedness for the offender upon
release
10. Volunteering support
Evangelism in prison may seem like
a pretty intimidating idea, when in
fact it is one of the safest places to
share your faith with men and
women in need of a changed heart
Preaching the gospel is one of the
commands Jesus gave his
disciples, if you are a Christian you
are a disciple
Teaching life skills based upon
Christian principles help newfound
ideas form in prisoners minds
11. Financial Support
Contributions from individuals, who give above
and beyond their regular tithes and offering,
form the majority of the financial support that
allows this ministry to go.
Life on the Rock, must find a team of
partners who will give their finances in the
form of $100.00 per month, or some other
amount to support the efforts Christ has
appointed us to within the razor wire fences.
As soon as this team is complete we can
fully engage in our ministry work
What would the Lord have you give?
12. Our commitment to
our partners
To work diligently to touch the lives
of people for Jesus Christ
To be good stewards of the
resources God provides
To regularly let people know the
activities and blessings of this
ministry
To share prayer concerns and
answered prayer with one another.
Amen…
James 4:17 - Therefore to him
that knoweth to do good, and doeth
[it] not, to him it is sin.
13. Making a difference
in peoples lives
Your partnership can and will make
a difference in reaching people for
Christ

support for $100.00 today and a
