I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Cassandra Scollick. She was
one of my students for advanced med/surg both clinical and didactics. We had a privilege of
doing our rotation at Kaiser Riverside. We had many opportunity to deliver care for patients:
multiorgan failures related to sepsis, hypothermia, renal failure who are receiving continuous
renal replacement therapy, respiratory failure that being supportive by mechanical ventilators,
and other critical illnesses.
She demonstrated outstanding nursing skills and knowledge in the clinical setting.
Cassandra did an exceptional job as a student nurse by showing initiative, persistence, being
organized, and doing her assignments in advance. She is a patient advocate and shows
compassion to patients and their families. In clinical Cassandra provides holistic care, body,
mind and spiritual to patients and families. She is an engaged student who is eager to learn and
grow. Cassandra exhibits professional responsibility and would make a substantial contribution
to your nursing staff.
Ms. Scollick not only has a passion for nursing but she also has a thirst for knowledge
with the goal of improving patients’ outcomes. I believe that she will be a strength for your team.
